Quilt of Valor

The national Quilt of Valor organization paired me with a Quilt of Valor group near me that made made this top so it was sent to me for quilting.  It's 60 x 72




I used white thread to put a lot of 8-pointed stars in the white areas:



I quilted wiggly lines through the red and blue strips using a red/white/blue variegated thread:



The border is a patriotic print, so I just quilted a simple meander.  This same fabric was used on the back:
