Quilt of Valor

This Quilt of Valor was pieced by a member of my group, and I quilted it.  I used red/white/blue variegated thread, and quilted a flag and star pantograph.  It's 69 x 73.

Charity Squares

I had lots of leftover solids, and bunches of 2.5" squares.  So I made this for my guild's charity group. It's 8 in" squares of the solids, and a 16-patch for the alternate blocks and finished at 48 x 56.  I used a variegated thread and quilted sunflowers all over it.

I pulled this blue calico from way deep in my stash for the backing:

You are my Sunshine

Carol always says to her great niece - "you are my sunshine"  She saw this panel and asked me to make a quilt to give her niece for Christmas.  This is what I came up with.  It's 63x84.

I added a black border around the panel so it would stand out.  Then surrounded it with 9 patches made of several different fabrics that were part of the panel collection

I quilted sunflowers all over it.  You can also see the sunflowers in the fabric pics above.
