Barb's Son

Barb lost one of her sons, and sent me a few things to make a memory quilt for the remaining son for Christmas.  It's 28 x 44.




The highlight is a picture of her 2 boys:



She had a few t-shirts, his varsity letter, and even his baby blanket.  
She bought a few appliques to represent some of his hobbies:





The stripe that is the background and borders was one of his dress shirts.


I quilted it using a pointed meander.. The backing is a light blue grunge fabric.
