4 memory quilts

I finally finished my summer-long project.  These are 4 double bed quilts made for a widow and her 3 children.  The Log Cabin is for the Mom - she had special shirts set aside for her quilt.

Bonnie Hunter's Strip Twist                              Bonnie Hunter's Basketweave

Log Cabin with special  shirts -                                     2-Rail Fence
they are Tommy Bahama with playing cards
                             embroidered on them

The husband was a card player - I found this backing that is a perfect fit.

The kids called their Dad this.  It's embroidered in a corner block of each of their quilts.

I quilted using a pantograph that has the 4 suits from a deck of cards.
