4 memory quilts

I finally finished my summer-long project.  These are 4 double bed quilts made for a widow and her 3 children.  The Log Cabin is for the Mom - she had special shirts set aside for her quilt.

Bonnie Hunter's Strip Twist                              Bonnie Hunter's Basketweave

Log Cabin with special  shirts -                                     2-Rail Fence
they are Tommy Bahama with playing cards
                             embroidered on them

The husband was a card player - I found this backing that is a perfect fit.

The kids called their Dad this.  It's embroidered in a corner block of each of their quilts.

I quilted using a pantograph that has the 4 suits from a deck of cards.

I especially like the first quilt! All of them are going to be greatly appreciated and loved. Great Work. Enjoyed looking at some of your other quilts and will come back later and finish looking at the rest. Cynthia
