Log Cabin

Made in 2003 - this is king size - 120" x 120".  PIctured on our bed.  This picture was taken before the dust ruffle was added.  It's made of one of the fabrics on the "light" side of the log cabin.  I quilted diagonal cross-hatching by rolling it up and cramming it through my domestic machine!!  Quite a challenge . . . .

Oh! I bet that was some heroic machine quilting endeavor! I love a traditional log cabin. It is a pattern that I never tire of.

I notice your sweet picture of Putter, and the date. :-( I'm so sorry. She sure was a beautiful girl! On April 1st it will be two years since I said farewell to my Golden Retriever, who was almost seventeen years old. I still miss her dearly, but I can tell you that it does get (slowly) easier. Hang in there.

Beautiful quilt(and interesting log cabin design)! I do so love the large quilts, but hate actually doing the quilting and binding on them. I can just see you cramming it through your sewing machine (LOL). Love the dog on it, I usually see only cats in quilter blogs! I love dogs and don't care much for cats ... sometimes I think I can't be a true quilter unless I get a cat! Thanks for sharing it with us.
