Joan's Applique

Joan did a beautiful job on this applique.  The stitches are totally hidden.

  It's 52 x 52, and will be a  wall hanging 

She wanted a filler in the background -

and cross hatching in all the baskets -

lines 1" apart on the large center basket

lines 1/2 inch apart on the 4 corner baskets

I did simple fills in the 2 inner borders -

she pieced the backing from her stash -
