A member of my Quilt of Valor group pieced this from orphan blocks and I brought it home to quilt. I used a red/white/blue variegated thread, and used a pantograph with swirls and stars. It's 54 x 68,
Some of the centers of the log cabin blocks were fussy cut to show a flag:
