CELTIC SOLSTICE

This is a Bonnie Hunter mystery that I did years ago, and finally quilted it.  I used a wool batting because Mom wanted this for her summer cottage.  Then she decided it wasn't big enough, so it's back with me.  This is all batik fabrics, and the back is 10" squares of all the same fabrics.  It's 86 x 86.

CHARITY

 I made this from scraps for my guild's charity group.  It's 55 x 65

WILD AND GOOSEY

This is a Bonnie Hunter pattern that is paper pieced.  So many little pieces!  But I love using them up.  I had the grey and black solids in my stash, so didn't need to purchase anything.  Even had the backing just waiting for the right quilt.  I'ts 69 x 69

FROLIC

This is a Bonnie Hunter mystery.  I used yardage instead of going scrappy like usual.  It's 68 x 68.  This was sold to Gloria Henderson for her 70th birthday.

BITCOIN

This is a Bonnie Hunter pattern, and makes great use of 1.5" strips.  Fun to do and use up lots of scraps.  It's 56 x 68.  I quilted straight lines in a yellow-gold thread.

BUTTERFLY GARDEN

This was done as a one-block-wonder.  The original fabric is the floral in the border.  I cut out some of the flowers and appliqued them on the plain fabric in 2 corners.  It's 65 x 67.  I quilted it with a butterfly pantograph, which inspired the name.  The backing fabric is from the same line.

ROSE ANN'S BATIKS

Rose Ann made this from a kit, and had me quilt it for her.  She won "best use of color", which we had a good chuckle at since it was a kit!!  It's 84 x 84

SWANS AT SUNSET

The pattern is Grassy Creek from Bonnie Hunter.  But I changed the name because I used a photo of swans at sunset to choose my colors.  I added yellow rick rack to the edge to catch the judge's eye.  It's 62 x 62

APPALACHIAN AUTUMN

Parts of this is foundation pieced, along with lots of half square triangles,  by Bonnie Hunter.  It's 56 x 56.  I didn't do this right away thinking I didn't have much orange in my stash.  But once I started digging, I had more than enough.  I added some veins in the leaves with my quilting.

CHARITY

I made this from lots of my scraps for my guild's charity.  It's 42 x 54

POINT OF VIEW

This was a kit with specialty rulers that I worked on at my guild's retreat in Feb 2020.  I didn't like their border so I changed it, but had to be careful as I had limited fabrics since it was a kit.  I added the fringe to try to impress the judges.  I had also added crystals, but the judges didn't like those, so I got 2nd place.
