Jessie's Memories

This is the third quilt I've made from my aunt's clothing.  This is for another grand-daughter.  The pattern is "Crayon Box" by Bonnie Hunter from Quiltville.  The previous two quilts can be seen here.

I quilted big hooks all over - and love the texture that created:

I did smaller hooks in the border, then decided it needed more, so went back and added the points between that kind of encloses each one:
