QUILT OF VALOR

This is one that I pieced.  I quilted one of this pattern for the national group, and liked the pattern so much that I made my own.  It's 60 x 72.

I used a great "fireworks" print for all of the stars and cornerstones.  Then I alternated a red or blue solid background, with white sashings.

You can see the hooks I quilted in the red areas, and the X's in the sashing below. 

 There is an 8-pointed star in the center, with line dancing in the star points.

I had flag print that I used for the border, backing,  and binding.
