Quilt of Valor

This is another great Quilt of Valor pieced by Becky.  This one would be for someone in the Air Force as there is a fabric with lots of old planes.  The airplane blocks alternate with a star block, with 3-part borders between them.  The size is 68 x 80.

I quilted a simple meander is all the airplane sections

There are 4 8-pointed stars quilted into each star block

The border sections all have ribbon candy quilted on them:

The backing is a dark navy, making giving it a whole-cloth quilt look:

the fabric is actually much darker than this shows
