Double Bubble

This is a Bonnie Hunter mystery pattern that she named Double Delight. I name it Double Bubble, because the colors remind me of Double Bubble bubble gum!! Pieced in Jan 09, and professionally quilted that fall.

Mixed-up Migration


Lots of flying geese - hence the name.  Made for a co-worker - she helps keep my business going.  I used spray starch on the fabric before cutting to help maintain all those points.  April 2008

60 x 60 - quilted on my domestic machine with lots of stars.

Orient Express


This is pre-cut squares from JoAnn Fabrics.  Bought extra fabric for the borders to make it queen sized.  Professionally long-arm quilted.  PIeced in Jan 2008, quilted in Nov 2009

Rock Concert Shirts


The second quilt I made for friend Dick.  This one is his t-shirts that he bought at rock concerts.  He is a retired teache, and this hangs from an old chalk board in his living room!!

Quilts with Love quilts for the military

This is the first of many quilts I made for the Quilts With Love group.  They send quilts to our military personnel in Iraq and Afganistan.  Made in 2005

St. Jude's quilt contest

This was an entry for the St. Jude's contest to make quilts for the children in the hospital.  The program is run via Hancock Fabrics.  I won a red ribbon for this one.  The theme is "golf with dad".  Made in 2005.

Texas Star


Made for my Mom in March 05.  Used the pre-printed interfacing from  Quiltsmart.com
