This quilt was pieced by Vicki G, and sent to me for quilting. We were paired through the
Quilts of Valor organization. The name of the pattern is:
"Non
Sibi Sed Patriae" ,(not for self but for country), from Fons & Porter. This is inscribed on the
chapel doors of the US naval academy.
I quilted four
8-pointed stars in the blue field, with straight lines in the stripes -
staying with the "stars & stripes" theme. The backing is red with
small gold stars. Vicki has added the binding, and will send it to the selected veteran.
