QUILT OF VALOR

A guild member pieced this envelope quilt - so named because the individual blocks look like an envelope.  It's 60 x 72, and will be donated thru the Quilts of Valor program.  


The envelop pattern is repeated in alternate color-ways

She had friends write notes to the recipient and appliqued them onto the quilt:





I used a red/white/blue variegated thread to quilt a simple meander with stars:





The backing is a perfect choice for a Quilt of Valor:
